Web Developer (Vue)

We are looking to hire an experienced Web Developer. This position is for individuals with 1-3 years of web development and Vue experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop custom applications using a web platform
  • Work closely with Project Managers and other Application Developers to design, implement, and maintain systems with a high level of quality
  • Self-starter, with strong sense of ownership on internal and client startups
  • Design screens, write, and test code/scripts
  • Provide recommendations on how technology can transform customer’s business
  • Regularly communicate in writing tasks accomplished
  • Mentor and reinforce a team of web development professionals through changes to keep pace with emerging technologies
  • Always learning and looking to level up knowledge

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of Vue experience
  • Experienced JavaScript developer using Vue.js
  • Must reside in or plan to relocate to Indiana, Ohio, New York, or Texas
  • Demonstrated ability building websites using HTML/CSS/JS
  • AWS Amplify experience highly desired
  • Ability to build responsive cross-browser applications
  • Experience with GraphQL
  • Experience with UI/UX design
  • Strong understanding of REST, JSON, OAuth, XML, OData
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Ability to perform job functions with a minimum of supervision
  • Exhibit signs of creativity and a positive attitude
  • Team player
  • Consistently deliver value to customers
  • Train junior developers on best practices/coding standards
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering
  • Ability to type a minimum of 50 words per minute

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with AWS Amplify development
  • Familiarity with Tailwind
  • Preferred experience with developing data visualization graphics and interactive content
  • Ability to write end to end and unit tests
  • Ability to provide samples of your development work
  • Full stack development experience
  • Knowledge of Adobe XD for designing visual mockups
  • Familiarity with EOS methodology
